About Coxon Group

Since 1979 the Coxon Group of Companies has been an owner operated landlord developer.  During this time our team has built a reputation for providing premises to high profile companies, including Bunnings Warehouses, Downer Electrical, Bridgestone Australia, National Australia Bank as well as housing numerous other national administration, distribution and retail outlets.  The Coxon Group has established itself as specialists in the area of accessing property to suit businesses’ specific needs.  We achieve this through our extensive experience, customer focused attitude, flexibility and impressive portfolio of land and premises.

The Coxon Group specialises in purpose built facilities for companies now, as well as allowing for the future growth of their clientele.  It is our belief that if the client has input into design, layout and finish they will be able to achieve full satisfaction on a day to day operational and administrative basis.  As a consequence the group has developed an enviable reputation in the market place as being one of the best developers specialising in purpose built commercial and industrial projects.

While the Coxon Group is actively involved in developing buildings on a market demand basis, we can also provide accommodation for businesses in existing premises with or without alteration. Peter Coxon

Peter Coxon has established a benchmark of integrity and a history of performance in Perth’s industrial property development industry.  Leaving a career with the National Bank in commercial banking in 1971, Peter started the first developments with land from ILDA (Industrial Land Development Authority).  The ensuing developments in Mackay and Bradford Streets, Kewdale, Western Australia remain in the ownership and management of Peter Coxon and joint venture partners to this day.

Peter’s extensive and notable career as Company Director and property developer has been the result of a very successful private portfolio, astute business acumen and personable manner.

Peter was recognised as an ‘Associate Fellow’ of the Australian Institute of Management in December 1985 and a ‘Foundation Fellow’ of The Institute of Company Directors in January 1990.

Peter also received the Local Chambers Business Person for 2006 award and continues to direct the future of one of Perth’s most highly regarded and professional commercial and industrial property companies – the Coxon Group.

Sheldon Coxon

Sheldon joined the Coxon Group of Companies in 1990 and has been enthusiastically supporting the reshape of the company profile, whilst continuing to benefit the clients and to create and retain value in all of our property dealings, by marrying up to date intelligence with the company’s expertise and experience.  Sheldon brings an innovative perspective and vitality to the company, including a passion for improvement of design services, processes and up to date technologies, enabling the company to be progressive and dynamic.

His focus on project management and negotiation of all transactions has lead him to become an important element in the company; diligently developing and expanding the business.  Under Sheldon’s direction the Coxon Group of Companies secured the tender to construct the custom designed Kewdale Central office development, Roy Hill Remote Operations Centre and various other warehouse developments within the portfolio.  The Roy Hill project stands as a testament to his ability to successfully manage and deliver within the parameters of this particularly specialised project.

Sheldon is dedicated in every respect to the future direction of one of Perth’s most highly regarded and professional commercial and industrial property companies.
