Waypoint Feature SculptureGallery

The Coxon Group’s commitment to improving the urban landscape and enabling the Kewdale precinct to flourish extends to their proposal to include public sculpture into selected developments.

The Waypoint Business Park development incorporates the use of a dynamic feature sculpture, standing six metres high, to mark the gateway to the airport at Grogan Road. The sculpture uses steel, concrete and light to illustrate a navigation instrument which gives the site its name. This  artwork will add to the Coxon Group’s vision for the site and  fit into the parkland setting which is  linked over several hectares through an innovative master plan, transforming the precinct into a regional hub of retail, commercial, industrial, logistics, warehousing, accommodation and aviation uses.

Kewdale Central also embraces the idea of adding value to the architectural development and urban environment by the inclusion of a proposed public sculpture to punctuate its place on Kewdale Road. This steel and concrete sculpture aptly interplays a balance between the strength of structures and the ingenuity of design, reaching five metres into the air and stretching eight metres along the ground.
